Mr. Gandhi is the President of M & R Hospitality Company Mr. Gandhi has a varied background in the hotel industry including leadership and operational responsibility with respected franchise brands. With family involvement in the business influencing his path he has over 17 years of upward experience. Mr. Gandhi and his partner create vision for all new company growth, perform market feasibility studies, create and execute targeted sales actions included in company marketing and business plans. His years of hospitality experience have now come to include current day involvement as an owner of several successful franchise units. Mr. Gandhi loves to stay involves in daily property operational issues including acquisition /asset development, revenue management, human resources and the improving of guest satisfaction.

Mr. Gandhi has received his Master of Business Administration from Temple University School of Business and completed his Bachelor in Pharmacy from Duquesne University. Mr. Gandhi is a Certified IHG General Manger and a member of the regional counsel of IAHI.

Mr. Patni is the Vice President of hotel operations for M & R Hospitality Management. Manish has enjoyed his many years of experience with the Choice and Wyndham brand of hotels. His experience lies in operations and he has been a successful General Manager of numerous hotel brands.

Mr. Patni is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day hotel segments for the company. Utilizing his years of experience in the industry, Mr. Patni provides a unique mix of operational, sales and marketing expertise that correlate to achieving profit and satisfaction objectives.

Mr. Patni has been responsible for project administration and overseeing operations, which involve hotel development and facility renovation projects. Most recently he is providing leadership for specific internal and external marketing actions focused on improving associate and customer satisfaction.

Manish is instrumental in providing a human connection with the local community surrounding our properties as well as to the associations serving the hotel industry. Both Mr. Patni and his partner Mr. Gandhi work toward the acquisition of new hotel sites and existing management contracts.

Manish holds a bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from St. John University and his CHA from the American Hotel & Lodging Association.

Mr. Gandhi is responsible for the operations oversight of M & R Hospitality Management. This includes ensuring tight cost controls in all areas of a hotel's operation, assisting the hotel team in forecasting future revenues and expenses for ownership, regular guidance and direction in developing strategies to improve customer service, reviewing financial results and expectations, team training and employee motivational. In addition, Mr. Gandhi visits each of his properties on a regular basis, conducting sales meetings and detailed property inspections. He also oversees capital/renovation projects and will work with ownership and hotel management in directing these projects.

Jignesh brings a very hands-on approach to the direction to managing of hotels and increases the bench strength operating the portfolio. With over 10 years of experience in the hospitality field he has served as General Manager of Howard Johnson, Days Inn and Best Western. And with the opening of his new Comfort Inn in Staten Island, he now has supervisory responsibility for over 250 hotel rooms.

Mr. Gandhi earned a Bachelors and Associates degree from Bombay University, as well as, his CHA from the American Hotel & Lodging Association.

Mr. "Rick" Sacco, a distinguished leader and executive team member of M&R Hospitality forges all aspects of business by setting the direction and coordinating daily hotel operations of the Holiday Inn Express Brand at JFK, LaGuardia Airport and Staten Island. Rick's expertise can be attributed to over 20 years of full service General Manager Experience in the lodging industry with past team performance results to include an IHG "Quality Excellence Service Award," and the Hampton Inn "Inner Circle" Guest Excellence Award.

Rick has the experience of leading various hotel brands and is a motivating resource to our company team of General Managers in delivering lasting customer memories essential in strengthening guest and associate loyalty.

Rick earned his Bachelors of Business Administration Degree from Mulhlenberg College, Allentown, Pa. and his CHA from the American Hotel & Lodging Association.

Mr. Gandhi currently serves as our company's in-house counsel. Mr. Gandhi handles all organizational, tax, financing and employment issues for the company. Mr. Gandhi has a Juris Doctor from Temple University; a Master's of Business Administration from Temple University; a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Real Estate from the Pennsylvania State University.



Mrs. Thakkar is the Director of Accounting & Administration for the company's hotel portfolio. She has been with M&R Hospitality Management since 2005 and is responsible for overseeing all hotel property accounting and financial functions. She leads and manages the company's administrative departments, including human resources and IT systems. These operations include daily cash flow monitoring, accounts payable management, payroll recording and general ledger maintenance. She also establishes internal controls and assists with the maintenance of accounting practices and procedures.

Mrs. Thakkar is responsible for directing the Administration and Planning timelines for all company new hotel openings. She assists the President in banking, financial and purchasing processes as well as the coordination of new hotel vendor contracts. She also has direct responsibility for managing company relationships with new hotel brand liaisons.

Her prior experience includes three-year tenure with JFK Sai Hospitality Management where she held positions in accounting, office administration and human resources.

Prior to her career with JFK Sai Hospitality, Mrs. Thakkar worked in several positions with L.B.PUBLISHERS AND DISTRIBUTORS Time-Life Books an educational division of Time-Warner Inc. For three years, she served as Marketing assistant. She was responsible for the online advertising and direct marketing. In a central role with L.P. publishers, Mrs. Thakkar served as Web Analytics Manager too, overseeing the web analytics of 30+ websites. She provided key performance indicator reports to senior management and assisted IT and product departments in the redevelopment of several websites.

Mrs. Thakkar holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bombay University and graduated with honors from Wintech Computers with an Associate Degree in Information Technology, an active member of HFTP (Hospitality Financial & Technology Professionals)

 

Mr. Agustin is responsible for supporting all segments of the daily and monthly accounting process including preparation of PL, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements. 

Prior to joining M&R Hospitality, Mark held several positions in the hotel industry including responsibility at Front Desk, Accounting and in Human Resources. Mark has work experience with Intercontinental Hotels and has also worked at various hotel brands within the Pyramid Advisors Group. Mark began his accounting career as a regional support team member with Holiday Inn, Hampton Inn & Crowne Plaza in Queens, NY. In this role, he assisted in the preparation and presentation of annual hotel budgets and the reporting of all financial information.

Mark Agustin received his Associate Degree in Accounting from the College of West Chester

He is currently attending Mercy College seeking his BA in Accounting.  

 

Anne began her work in sales and hospitality over 20 years ago for Grace's Distinctive Properties LTD selling and supporting a group of nine hotels in the Caribbean and Mexico. She has significant experience in the Travel Agent sector after owing a successful working Travel Agency in Staten Island New York for over twelve years.

 Anne joined M&R during the opening of the Comfort Inn and Holiday Inn Express in Staten Island New York. During this time, she has initiated and developed sales and marketing plans and budgets for her local project along with representing all six M&R hotel brands on sales calls in each corporate, leisure and travel segment. On a corporate level, Anne's universal objective is to assist any M&R hotel in maximizing revenues and improving market share. Anne continues to participate in many qualified trade shows and training sessions for tour and travel operators throughout the country.
